Riviera Maya: Magic and Adventure Awaits

Traveling to Mexico is a staple item in my travel repertoire. I am lucky to have experienced some of the fun and popular spots like Mazatlán, Puerto Vallarta, Cabo San Lucas, and Ixtapa. However, I find that I am left wanting more. Something different. Something Unique. Something Special.

Where could I go to experience a little slice of heaven? And then it hit me…Riviera Maya, of course!

Riviera Maya is considered part of the Mexican Caribbean and as I research, I continually run across positive statements like this one:

“Few places on earth cause as much amazement as the Riviera Maya. What makes it so different from other coastlines around the world is that is a place full of magic where you can completely escape from the outside world.”

Tulum, Mexico

As my research deepens, I learn more about the area and have completely fallen in love with Tulum. It looks like Dreams Resorts also agrees:

“Immerse yourself in a truly authentic experience and discover the Mayan culture prevalent in Tulum, an area that has been inhabited for the past 700 years and was first known as “Zama”, also known as the “City of Dawn”. This untouched part of the Mexican Caribbean, located a short drive south from Playa del Carmen, offers its visitors the opportunity to discover magical and uncrowded places such as the ancient ruins of Coba and Tulum. Adventure-seekers will also be able to enjoy activities such as swimming in the crystal-clear waters of the underground caves (cenotes), interaction with nature at the nearby Xel-Ha waterpark and a nearby golf course. Travel into downtown Tulum, a leisurely beach town full of great restaurants, a variety of nightlife and bars, shopping, and other local attractions.”

Tulum has something fantastic for everyone. Have you visited Tulum? I would love to hear about your experience with this magical destination.
